I build marketing functions from zero.

Seventeen years at Vizient, a $2B healthcare company, building what marketing didn't have.

I left with analytics, MarTech and operations running: 20+ people and a $16M budget.

    functions built and running

    What I walked into

Analytics was one part-time analyst. MarTech and operations didn't exist as teams.

    What I built

    Three functions, built from zero

Analytics was one part-time analyst when I arrived. I built it first, then MarTech and operations. All three kept running through a pandemic.

    What I walked into

No standard tool, no training, everyone trying things on their own.

    What I built

    Gen AI at Vizient

Vizient named me marketing's AI Super Champion. I trained 145 people and made Writer the standard platform. The workflows stuck after the training ended.

    What I walked into

Marketing targeted people while sales worked accounts.

    What I built

    Vizient's first ABM program

We moved from a "spray and pray" model to a sales-aligned, account-based approach, with quantifiable success.

    What I built

    Children's sight, North Texas

I raised $1M from Alcon for vision screening across North Texas. I trained 156 doctors and nurses myself. Then I set up follow-up, so a failed screen turned into an appointment.

It shows health systems what their supply contracts save them, in their own numbers. I named it, wrote the positioning and ran the launch.

MS in Data Science, SMU, 2017

I went back mid-career. It taught me to tell real capability from a good demo, which is most of the AI job now.
